Specific responsibilities that the Web/Digital Communications Advisory Committee will address in relation to technology governance include the following:

  • Assess effectiveness of current web, digital, social, and online communication presence
  • Coordinate approach to selecting and using Content Management System (CMS)
  • Establish procedures and processes that will help strengthen the University's web presence
  • Prioritize new high-level project requests for internally and externally facing content
  • Benchmark best practices
  • Communicate with key stake holders regularly
  • Establish and Charge ad-hoc sub-committees
  • Develop an annual report for the IT Executive Council documenting the Committee's progress and recommended initiatives and actions
