In December 2011, the University of Hartford began processing refunds to matriculated students electronically.
All University of Hartford students are required to activate a refund preference in order to receive any type of tuition or Financial Aid refund.
Students have several options to get refund money faster and easier than ever before:
With a same-day deposit to the OneAccount, you can access your refund money the same day it’s released by Higher One. Those funds can be used anywhere MasterCard® is accepted, or you can withdraw money from the Higher One ATM on campus for free.
A transfer to an account of your choice makes your refund money available in 2-3 business days.
Please note that the Hartford Card is NOT a credit card. It is a declining balance debit refund card.
Please visit the Hartford Card Frequently Asked Questions page to find out more information about the new refund process.
