The Base Folder is the top level folder located inside the Folder Tree. It contains all the pages that form the Hartford.edu website. It is inside this folder where you will find the Parent Folder of your department.
A Parent Folder contains the webpages, images and documents that form your website. It is this folder where CMS authors have the ability to edit an existing page, create new pages, and to upload documents and images.
Creating Subfolders within a department folder or any folders within, will keep your website content clutter-free and easy to maintain. Using additional subsections within the main department folder and using separate folders for images, pdfs, docs, or xls will help keep your site organized.
