Bettina Viereck is a clinical psychologist who joined the Department of Psychology in 2003. She is the Program Specialist for the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology and teaches physiological psychology, health psychology, child and lifespan development, and general psychology on the undergraduate level. Her research interests are in the area of developmental and neuropsychology, particularly in EEG neurofeedback treatments for clinical and sub-clinical populations with high trait anxiety.

Ms. Viereck also received an MFA in sculpture from the Hartford Art School and taught sculpture, drawing, painting, and freshmen foundation seminars at Hartford College for Women and the Hartford Art School of the University of Hartford for eight years on a part-time basis.
