Physics Courses Offered in the Summer

Typically four summer courses are offered by the department:  PHY 112 and PHY 120 during the first summer session and PHY 113 and PHY 121 during the second summer session.

If you are a University of Hartford student who wishes to take physics at another institution you should get the course pre-approved by the department of physics to ensure that it is the right one for your academic program.  The appropriate forms are available at Bates House.  The department will also need the course description and the syllabus or the name of the textbook and chapters covered.  It is the student’s responsibility to obtain this information.

If you are a student from another institution and wish to take a summer physics course at the University of Hartford, you should have your own college approve the course before you enroll to ensure that it meets your needs.  The following course descriptions and syllabi should be helpful for this.
