His most recent film, Tobacco Burn, a Vimeo Staff Pick is distributed through Gravitas Ventures. His commercial and documentary work has brought him around the world, for clients such as ESPN, American Express and Macy’s.

As an educator, Liberman was the co-founder of the Sacred Heart University’s graduate film school, FTMA and was the Executive Director of their annual film festival. He was also one of the architects of a film program based in Dingle, Ireland and created creative content for a variety of Irish non-profits. His scholarship looks towards how cinematic traditions are preserved in new media arts and how filmmakers engage with subjectivity.
