In this talk, Yuki Watanabe and Hiroki Oura introduced the overview of a new project aimed to create self-regulated learners in a data-driven approach at Tokyo Tech. Tokyo Tech is the largest institution of higher education dedicated to STEM fields in Japan and has been working on a significant education reform to enhance institutional effectiveness (IE) in the last few years. The project specifically aims to develop an online environment for cultivating students' self-regulated learning (SRL) culture and helping their Academic/Career Decision-Making by collecting and analyzing their SRL profiles and their learning/academic records to provide each student with an optimal feedback. The project just started this April, so they shared the background, visions, and plans along with some of the current progress.
