Students usually call me Professor X. I enjoy teaching all kinds of mathematics. I have been an assistant professor of mathematics at University of Hartford since 2008. Before joining University of Hartford, I have taught two years at Lynchburg College, VA. My research includes differential and difference equations, dynamical equations on time scales, and a little bit of probability. I have also worked with an engineer professor in transportation problems. I have attended mathematical contest in modeling when I was an undergraduate student, and I am still interested in mathematical modeling. Besides math, I also love Chinese food and Kong Fu movie and novel. But I am not good in either cooking nor Kong Fu.
