Blizzard conditions are now impacting our region and a Connecticut statewide travel ban is in effect. The University will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27. Day and evening classes are canceled. An updated advisory on the status of classes and operations for Wednesday will be posted Tuesday evening. During the time that the University is closed, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open for use by residential students only. This program provides heavy involvement in both of the named disciplines and is designed mainly for students planning careers in biochemistry, one of the health professions (medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine etc.), or who plan to do graduate work in biochemistry or biology. Students are advised to consider concentrating in one or both fields by completing, in addition to the core program, the requirement for a baccalaureate degree in at least one of the disciplines, as described under Program Options.
